Oh my goodness we are down to the last four days of school! Where has the time gone? This has been such a fast year!
This week your students will be bringing home a lot of projects and things from school as things wind down here. Today students had notebooks, art projects, and name tags to bring home. More will be coming home soon!
Today was a very rough day for behavior. I was honestly pretty disappointed with the group because I really want to end our year together on a positive note, not one where we are really frustrated. Today had our normal morning routine but was more relaxed for the afternoon and that send everyone into wild behavior evidently. I am more than happy to teach the regular routine all the way up until the end of school if that will help but the students want to try again tomorrow morning to show me they will handle the art projects and fun activities better.
Today my parents also sent us a goody package as a congratulations for making it through my first year of teaching and the 2009-2010 school year together. Everyone in the class got a chocolate covered marshmallow and a chocolate dipped pretzel. Yum! We really enjoyed that! Thanks Mom and Dad for the great treat! We really liked them!
No homework tomorrow and students will be getting their final grades tomorrow for what will be on their report cards that will come home Friday. Keep an eye out for that. Get plenty of rest and see you tomorrow!
