Well, like I said! I am addicted to pastries and I have made a personal goal to eat my way across Europe - of course this will not be my only trip so that is definitely possible. :)
My pastry was the fruit one to the left - so tasty! Cake and custard layered with tart fruits like raspberries and currants on the top with a light fruit syrup. Perfect balance to sour and sweet. Honestly one of my favorites since being here. Something about fruit and custard that is so light and just screams summer. Again I'm forced to say... lordy I wish I could bake like this! Maybe something to add to my life list! :)
