A Quest for Chocolate con Churros

Since I have been here (quickly coming up on 4 weeks) I have yet to have chocolate con churros. It seems to be the elusive treat on my Spanish adventure. It was one of the things I was set on having when I got here and yet with a busy school schedule and many many other treats that I've tried chocolate con churros just hasn't appeared yet. But now it's getting late in the trip and honestly I'm getting nervous that the elusive breakfast or snack is not going to happen for me... I've decided to take things into my own hands now... I am not going to let my first trip to Europe end in dessert failure... not on my watch! So my goal is to find AND TRY at least one (that's right, I said at least! I'm shooting for the stars here!) churreria (churro cafes - yes they have their own cafes devoted to the sweet treat). It is definitely a challenge I am up to taking on. And with a nose for chocolate like I have, I know it will be successful. On my walk the other day I saw a whole plaza that on every corner was a churreria - aka heaven on earth. Now I just hope the hype I've built up in my head is worth it.... Ah, who am I kidding? It's going to be ooey gooey chocolatey goodness! YUM!
