This week the class is working on the Hard and Soft G sound. The "hard" G sound sounds like /j/ like in gym or engine. The soft G, on the other hand, sounds like a /g/ like in gum or garden.

This week we will be learning some rules for when to use the short or hard G and doing some activities to practice those rules. Since we have no school on Friday, the spelling quiz will be Thursday so make sure you are practicing extra hard this week since you have one less day to study. Good luck!
